Tracking Outreach
Log your contact attempts to track your follow-up activity.
What is an Outreach?
An Outreach (or Contact Attempt) is any time you try to reach out to a contact:
- Phone call
- Text message
- Social media message
- In-person conversation
Recording an Outreach
From the Contact List
- Find the contact in your list
- Click the Actions menu (⋮)
- Select Add Outreach
- Fill in the details
- Click Save
From the Contact Detail Page
- Open the contact
- Go to the Outreach tab
- Click New Outreach
- Fill in the details
- Click Save
Outreach Fields

Method Options
| Method | Use When |
|---|---|
| Phone Call | You called them |
| SMS/Text | Sent a text message |
| Sent an email | |
| Social Media | Messaged on Facebook, Instagram, etc. |
| In Person | Spoke face-to-face |
Status Options
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Successful | You reached them and had a conversation |
| No Answer | They didn't pick up or respond |
| Busy | They were busy, call back later |
| No Interest | They declined or showed no interest |
| Scheduled | You scheduled a follow-up |
Viewing Outreach History
All outreach attempts are logged and visible:
- On the contact's detail page
- In the Activities feed
- In the Planner view

Best Practices
- Log immediately - Record attempts right after you make them
- Be specific - Add notes about what was discussed
- Set follow-ups - When scheduling, add the next attempt date
- Track all methods - Every contact attempt matters
